Vatsala is a social development consultant and practitioner working on enabling not-for-profit organization through audit, training and communication. She is a qualified social auditor accredited by the Social Audit Network, UK. Being one among the first few qualified in India(2009), she is presently active in taking the social audit practice forward across the various not-for-profit sectors in India.

Vatsala has been an active team member of Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Management (CSIM), Hyderabad, an initiative that pioneered social entrepreneurship in the late 90s. From managing the Volunteer Management Program to marketing, designing and executing the core training programs of Social Entrepreneurship, she has played significant role in molding 200+ social entrepreneurs.

In 2009, when CSIM incubated the social audit practice in India in collaboration with Social Audit Network, UK, Vatsala has been a core member in forging the partnership and help nurture the practice through series of roadshows workshops and masterclasses. Today SAN, India, is the knowledge partner of SAN, UK in India.

Over the last few years Vatsala along with a team of auditors have conducted social audit across organizations, ranging from CSR projects, social enterprises and not- for profits.

Vatsala has a Masters in Applied Chemistry and Management. Teaching and training has been her core strengths. With a passion for teaching and consulting Vatsala is excited to help social organizations become professional, efficient and accountable. She is also passionate about handloom and rural artisanry.
